Orange Bundt With Chocolate Ganache Recipe

Add chocolate flavors to your bundt cake with a decadent ganache finish!

1 package yellow cake mix 3 fresh oranges300 grams dark chocolate1/2 cup cream

1 Prepare yellow cake according to package directions, substituting water for fresh orange juice and adding grated zest of one orange.

Butter and flour a Bundt pan and pour in batter. Bake. Remove cake from pan and cool on wire rack.

3  To make chocolate ganache, chop dark chocolate. Place in a bowl. In a saucepan, heat cream until it bubbles. Pour heated cream over chopped chocolate. Let stand for 3 minutes then mix until well blended. Let cool then pour over cake.






1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 13x9" baking dish.

Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl or airtight container. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake cake until surface springs back to the touch and cake is set and golden brown, 25–30 minutes. Let cool completely, then turn out onto a platter before frosting.
