First you’ll need the following ingredients:
For the caramel base
3/4 cup sugar
For the Cheesecake Flan
4 egg whites
8 egg yolks
1 box cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup milk
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar (can be adjusted to your desired sweetness)
How to do it:
For the caramel use ¾ cup of sugar and use a pan to melt the sugar and turn the heat on low. Keep on stirring the sugar until you get the amber color and turn off the heat and put this aside first and proceed to the next step.
Next, break or stir the egg yolks and add ½ cup of milk, a teaspoon of vanilla, a can of evaporated and condensed milk, and just mix it all together.
For the cream cheese you should remember that it should be at room temperature for this will make you easier melting and making it smooth, use the electric mixer until the cream cheese becomes smooth and add 1/2cof sugar, ¼ teaspoon of salt and gradually add the egg whites and continue mixing until it becomes smooth.
Combine the egg yolks and the cream cheese mixture and mix it all together. It takes only 25 minutes to prepare and mix all the ingredients. It’s very easy.
