Crochet Project: Hadley Lace Hat

First of three!

My mom requested 3 beanies from me. So I granted, here's the first. It's a Hadley Lace Hat made with V-stitch design.

I followed the pattern here: http://ohfrogit.blogspot.com/2012/04/hadley-lace-hat-free-pattern.html and believe me it's super easy and another fun design to make.

Here's the starting of my basic beanie top. I used red yarns as per my mom's choice.

Then here's the beanie without the brim. It's done.

I hope you can see the V-shaped stitch. It's basically doing dc's but as you go along you do it in a manner that will show V-result.

See the not so big brim? It's cute isn't? The original pattern does not include the brim I added it as per requested by my mom too. I got the brim pattern from Clare's youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iN-WPUHSiU

For the brim, I also used double red yarn shade 24 (red heart). Using double yarn on brims make your brim sturdy and it's nice that way.

So that's it, the first on my mom's request. Will post the second soon...until then Cute-rs. Happy crocheting...
