Due to the reported outburst of the veteran actress Maricel Soriano, she will no longer be a part of Gerard Anderson's upcoming series. The two had a feud on the first taping day of "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin".

ABS-CBN backs up Gerard Anderson for his professionalism and said that Gerard did not do anything that provoked or instigated Maricel Soriano’s removal from their upcoming television series.

Despite this the series, which also features Cristine Reyes, Rayver Cruz and Diana Zubiri, will still proceed as scheduled.
