It's a wrap for "The Hobbit" casts and crew!

The shooting for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is finally over according to Peter Jackson.

However, can it top "The Lord of the Rings". We'll see about that...

According to Peter Jackson, director of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" it took them under nine months to finish this film. He announced in his Facebook page, "We made it! Shoot day 266 and the end of principal photography on The Hobbit."  "Thanks to our fantastic cast and crew for getting us this far, and to all of you for your support! Next stop, the cutting room. Oh, and Comic Con! Cheers, Peter J." 

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will follow the story of Bilbo Baggin's early life and adventure. Most of their shoot took place in the beautiful New Zealand.

Casts includes, Martin Freeman will play the role of Bilbo Baggins, Elijah Wood will still be Frodo, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel and Ian McKellen as Gandalf.

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will arrive in cinemas December 14, 2012.
