ABS-CBN's Tribute to the King of Comedy, Dolphy!

Last night has been an emotional night for ABS-CBN's family. They offered a necrological service for the one and only Dolphy.

Dolphy has once again set foot on his second home yesterday afternoon, the ABS-CBN compound where his remains was placed at Dolphy Theater.

A mass and a necrological service was held. Friends and colleagues of Dolphy offered eulogy for a great man.

The first one to give eulogy is ABS-CBN Corp. chief executive officer and chairman Eugenio Lopez III. He said, "extraordinary person who became a symbol for the ordinary Filipino."

Lopez said the passing of Dolphy is the end of an era in Philippine Television.

ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio described Dolphy as a unassuming, humble and shy man who never changed despite his fame.

She said, a "king who had his feet on the ground."

Nova Villa, Dolphy's co-worker in "Home Along the Riles" shared her experiences about the Comedy King. The T.V. show runs for 11 years and during those years they only shared fun, laughter and true friendship.

Eric Quizon thanked ABS-CBN, the medical team of Makati Medical Center, all their relatives, friends and supporters.

He said, the last month is the hardest and the happiest experience they've had. He compared their experience to a roller coaster, one time they thought that they will lose their dad and then his Dad would come back again.

The last to give Eulogy is Dolphy's partner for 23 years, Zsa-zsa Padilla.

Zsa-zsa thanked a lot of people and mention how great Dolphy were as a person. She mentioned all of Dolphy's children and assured them that they are one true family...

I love her song...

The best part of her eulogy is when she sings "Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers. It brought tears into my eyes.

I am also glad that before Dolphy died he never failed to mouth the words, "I Love You" to Zsa-zsa and to his children.

Many stars attended the necrological service of Dolphy, all paid their tribute and offered prayers for the repose soul of the Philippines King of Comedy.

Gary Valenciano, Vina Morales, Richard Poon, Jed Madela, Eric Santos, Basil Valdez and Piolo Pascual paid tribute to Dolphy by singing on last night service.

After the service a public viewing was held too at ABS-CBN's Dolphy Theater where fans of the late Dolphy paid their last respect. The viewing lasted until 2 AM after which Dolphy's remains were  brought back to Heritage Park in Taguig.

Ted Failon, Toni Gonzaga and Kris Aquino hosted the service last night.

†Dolphy will surely be missed...
