TV Pick: The Vampire Diaries Episodes 21-22

And here are the last two episode of "The Vampire Diaries" for this season. Oh this is so exciting!

The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 21: Before Sunset
Klaus acts on his intentions to leave town with Elena, but finds resistance from a surprising new enemy, Alaric the Original vampire hunter. Bonnie calls on Abby to help her with a difficult spell that will stop Alaric's heart, the same desiccation spell Abby used on Mikael. Alaric forces Elena to come to the school after he captures and tortures Caroline and tries to persuade her to kill Caroline, as Elena had previously expressed her interest in killing vampires. When Elena tries unsuccessfully to save Caroline and is held captive by Alaric, the Salvatore brothers and Klaus rush to save her. Klaus reveals that it is his bloodline to which the Salvatore brothers and Caroline are linked. Just as Alaric is ready to kill Klaus, Elena correctly assumes that she is Alaric's lifeline and that if she dies, so does he. Klaus escapes with Elena, intending to bleed her dry before he leaves town because he wants to kill Alaric. Tyler, Stefan, and Damon use the desiccation spell on Klaus, "killing" him without killing Tyler. Damon and Stefan have a surprisingly candid conversation about the future: if Elena chooses one brother, the other leaves town. Alaric outs both the Sheriff and the Mayor in front of the Council for failing to protect the town from vampires as both their children are vampires. Elena collapses at the end of the episode.
Scenes are intense. And I wouldn't want to miss any second of it.

The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 22: The Departed
Alaric tries to convince Jeremy to tell him the location of the neutralized Klaus, believing that Jeremy will also want to get rid of all vampires to protect his sister. Jeremy instead leaks false information to Alaric. In the harsh reality of the present situation, Elena longs for simpler times when her parents, Grayson and Miranda, and Aunt Jenna were still alive, and her biggest concern was her relationship with Matt. Caroline and Tyler are forced to leave town to escape the Council, who has found out they are supernatural creatures. When Elijah comes back into town, he strikes a deal with Elena, Bonnie, and the Salvatores, promising that in exchange for Klaus, he will revive Klaus generations later. Damon and Bonnie go to retrieve Klaus, but Alaric ambushes Damon. Rebekah arrives and tries to save Klaus, but Alaric manages to stake the neutralized Klaus. In a conversation with Matt, Elena tells him that Stefan was there at a time in her life when she had nothing, and that's what true love should be, but that when she is with Damon, she feels a passion for him that consumes her. Matt, forcing Elena out of Mystic Falls with him, tells her that she must choose between either Stefan or Damon to spend the last hour with before they die. Elena chooses Stefan, claiming that perhaps if she had met Damon first, things would be different. Rebekah, enraged and desolate, decides to take revenge by causing Matt and Elena to drive off of a bridge. Alaric dies after Elena drowns, but appears to Jeremy as a ghost to say goodbye. Bonnie is seen talking to what appears to be Tyler, but it turns out to be Klaus possessing Tyler's body, Bonnie having performed a spell before Alaric showed up.Elena comes back to life as a vampire at the end of the episode (though she has yet to transition), when it is revealed that Meredith had given vampire blood to heal Elena's cerebral hemorrhaging that had made her collapse in the last episode.
This is the best episode for this season, I almost cried. The decision is tearing me apart. How I wish Elena chose Damon. It's also sad to witness deaths and goodbyes. At the end, it is clear that Elena was turned into a vampire but has not complete the transition yet. Painful, really painful ending.

In the next season I'll assume that there will be an intense love triangle that will be viewed in a different direction since our beautiful Elena is not really herself anymore. I'm also expecting new changes from Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, Matt and Klaus a.k.a. Tyler, the vampire Salvatore Brothers and the original siblings.

Season 4 will be different I'm sure. I don't know if Elena being a vampire would make or break the whole story. But, I will still wait for it and continue to support "The Vampire Diaries".

will be waiting,
