Feast of Our Lady of Manaoag

The feast of Our Lady of Manaoag is on the third Wednesday after Ester Sunday. For this year 2012, Easter falls April 7 and today, April 25 is the third Wednesday.

Late last year, my family and I had a chance to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan, this is my first time. The shrine was overwhelming. I can feel the solemnity and the holiness of the place.

The last photo shown above is the line up to where supplicants are given a chance to touch the lower part of the image's mantle.

Our Lady of Manaoag is one of the most venerated Marian images in the Philippines. And her shrine is also attributed with healing powers and known as "patroness of the sick, the helpless and the needy"

There is a long line of history for Our Lady of Manaoag's renowned miraculous and pious event, that is why there are over thousands of devotees come to this place.

Are you a believer? 'coz I am.

Keep on praying Cute-rs,
